"Unsinkable Atheism," the 14th Annual Atheist Alliance International (AAI) Convention, will be held the weekend of September 25--28, 2008 on the beautiful and historic Queen Mary, which is permanently docked in Long Beach, California.

2008 Camp Quest West Information for the Atheist Alliance International Convention

Reduced Price - Now only $50

Chris Lindstrom and Amanda Metskas will run a Mini Camp Quest for the children of conventioneers. Reservations are required and can be done at the conference registration site.

Children ages 6-13 are welcome.

Teens who would like to help as volunteers are also welcomed and encouraged to participate. Camp Quest activities will take place in the Capstan Club (A Deck, Stern).

The large carpeted room with bright port windows is perfect for games, crafts, and hanging out. The adjoining sun deck will be utilized for outdoor fun.

The Camp Quest program will highlight science, critical thinking, fun, and education. The program includes a field trip to the Aquarium of the Pacific. The Camp Quest fee of $50 will cover the use of the room, all activities, and food. Camp Quest hours and days of operation:

Friday 6:30 PM-9:00 PM
Saturday 8:30 AM-9:00 PM
Sunday 8:30 AM-Noon

Campers will participate in the Closing Ceremony on Sunday (Queen's Salon on the Promenade Deck, Midship) and will be given sailor hats as mementos.
