www.snopes.com
No rationalist toolkit is complete without a reliable way to deal with all the nonsense that comes over the Internet or is passed around the schoolyard or workplace. Snopes.com is the ultimate second opinion on urban legends and other such rumors and tall tales. Next time one of your kids comes home with a tale that smells like an urban legend, go to Snopes.com, type in a few key words, and be amazed.
The folks who run this magnificent site do significant research, all of which is annotated in full. If you haven't seen this site before, be prepared to lose an afternoon glued to it.
Especially satisfying when you get a Godspam.

Positive Atheism magazine
If you and your kids need a deep well of secularist heroes and the literature and quotes to give them context, look no further than this astonishing website. Check out the Big List of Quotations and the Historical section in particular. Serves as a dynamic resource for school papers: just imagine plugging some of the given excerpts into your standard seventh-grade bio on Jefferson or Edison (or Susan B. Anthony, or Carl Sagan, or Mary Wollstonecraft...). The ongoing struggle against christian historical revisionism is joined!

MagicalJourneys.com for Children
This is a website devoted to promoting travel in Greece, but embedded within it (at the link provided) is an excellent collection of books on Greek mythology for children.
