Dear ,
I wrote to you on February 23rd asking for nominations for the vacant board role of Regional Director. North America. Unfortunately, I did not receive any nominations but we have found an excellent candidate. She is a previous AAI President, Vice President and Secretary; it is likely that you know her. She is Christine Shellska.
The board has voted to appoint Christine under Section 51 of our bylaws. Under this Section she can serve on the board until the next election. At that point, North American Affiliate Members may nominate candidates for the 2023 election.
Please join me in giving Christine a warm welcome to the board. I'm sure she contact you shortly.
